The Brazil Nuts market in mild suspense

Pangea Brokers updated Brazil Nuts New Crop Report.

The New Crop of the Brazil Nuts is keeping the market in mild suspense. The total amount may turn out slightly and will be lower than expected.

We are happy to share with you some updated market information for the Brazil Nuts market and the evolution of their New Crop.

The 2019 crop of Brazil Nuts is keeping the market in mild suspense. It is estimated that the total output may turn out slightly and will be lower than expected.

The rain is preventing the processors from determining the size of the crop and more is expected as the Amazonian rainforest sets into the rainy season. The floods will make acquiring raw material difficult.

At the moment most processors are reluctant to make offers, because they are uncertain on where the price will settle and what volumes of raw material they will have. However, this should not be a cause for panic.

The 2018 crop was very good, so this year it will be easy to get disappointed even with an average crop.

Even after taking into consideration the current rains, most suppliers are predicting a slightly lower crop concerning the sizes than usual. After a very bad 2017, the Brazil Nut market has recovered for the most part.

Prices have been luring customers back and supermarkets are putting Brazil Nuts back on the shelves. With the renewed interest and demand in these nuts, processors are eager to get their factories up and running.

Some areas in Peru and Bolivia are scheduled to start processing in 2-3 weeks. In Brazil, some areas do not expect to start processing until March. During the following weeks we will see how the temporary affected on the crop and how the market will evolve.

If  in the meantime there is some additional information that you need, just let us know.

We are glad to be at your disposal.
